Mission KI – Deutsches Museum Bonn
The Deutsches Museum Bonn is currently showing an exhibition on artificial intelligence. It includes two exhibits co-developed by the “Information Theory of Cognitive Systems” Research Group of Nihat Ay at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (MPI MiS) and the “RBO – Robotics and Biology Lab” of Oliver Brock at TU Berlin. These are the exhibits “Der Körper denkt mit” and “Greifen leicht gemacht” (see images below). Here is the link to the exhibition:

Our exhibits demonstrate important concepts from the field of embodied intelligence, in particular morphological computation and cheap control. Previously, they were part of the MS Wissenschaft, an exhibition organised in 2019 by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
